Composition of the synthetic building: car showroom

Nine car showrooms from the BKI databank (BKI-Datenbank 2015) were evaluated to derive characteristic areas, volumes and material indicators. The car showrooms have diverse sizes and floor plans, and generally feature a workshop and office space. Four objects could be examined in detail, i.e. using data on the areas of building components as well as descriptions of the construction process (data up to the 2nd costing level).     

The dates of completion of the analysed car showrooms lie in the period 1977 to 2008.
