Composition of the synthetic building: hotel/guesthouse

Information on 10 hotels/guesthouses from the BKI database (BKI database 2015) was evaluated in order to derive characteristic areas, volumes and material parameters. Four hotels (30 to 122 beds), four guesthouses (28 to 110 beds), one dormitory (42 beds) and a bed and breakfast establishment (12 rooms) were taken into account. Six objects could be examined in detail, i.e. by means of the areas of structural components and construction descriptions (details up to the second costing level).

The dates of completion of the analysed hotels/guesthouses (10/10 ) lie in the period 1978 to 2013.
