Composition of the synthetic building: underground car park

Nine underground car parks with capacity for around 10 to 120 cars were selected from the BKI databank (BKI-Datenbank 2015) in order to derive characteristic areas, volumes and material indicators. The underground car parks are located in the inner city and belong to laboratory buildings or similar institutes or to residential complexes. All nine objects could be examined in detailed, i.e. using data on the areas of building components as well as descriptions of the construction process (data up to the 2nd costing level).     

The dates of completion of the analysed underground car parks lie in the period 1975 to 1993.
