The synthetic multi-family house in West Germany from 1979 to 1990 is derived from the following five representative buildings: 

 

Four-storey multi-family house 1985-2000, masonry construction, unconverted attic

  • Exterior walls: plastered brickwork with thermal insulation
  • Ceilings: reinforced-concrete prefabricated ceilings
  • Roof: gable roof (reinforced-concrete girders) with rigid covering

 

Four-storey multi-family house, 1985-2000, masonry construction with curtain wall, converted attic

  • Exterior walls: aerated concrete with curtain wall
  • Ceilings: reinforced concrete
  • Roof: gable roof (reinforced-concrete girders) with rigid covering

 

Three-storey multi-family house, 1975, masonry construction with curtain wall, converted attic

  • Exterior walls: sand-lime brick curtain wall (Eternit)
  • Ceilings: reinforced concrete
  • Roof: pitched roof (timber rafters) with rigid covering

 


Five-storey multi-family house, prefabricated construction, unusable attic

  • Exterior walls: reinforced concrete (2-layer-panels)
  • Ceilings: reinforced concrete
  • Roof: flat roof with non-rigid covering

 

Eleven-storey multi-family house, post-1970, prefabricated construction, unusable attic

  • Exterior walls: reinforced concrete
  • Ceilings: reinforced concrete
  • Roof: flat roof with non-rigid covering
