Offices and administrative buildings

… are, in particular, furnished with work spaces to execute office and administrative activities. In addition, they have rooms for meetings, seminars and conferences, waiting and reception areas, sales and other rooms as well as connecting corridors. Other requisites are sanitary facilities, storerooms as well as archive space, kitchens and rooms for technical services and utilities. The foyers or office and administrative buildings are frequently (depending on the number of visitors) large.

Office and administrative buildings are generally multi-storey. They are mostly reinforced concrete structures with solid walls, partly in combination with ventilated facades. They may also feature wooden structures (Gruhler, Deilmann 2015).
