Retail buildings

Retail buildings are non-residental buildings used for the presentation and/or sale of primary goods.

Retail buildings include: market and exhibition halls; retail outlets; petrol stations; other retails buildings; warehouses for public food provision; warehouses for the police, border protection agencies, the fire service and civil population protection (Destatis 2014). These are, for example, market halls, exhibition halls, car showrooms, department stores, supermarket buildings.
