Agricultural service buildings

Agricultural service buildings are non-domestic buildings primarily dedicated to the following sectors: market gardening, farming, forestry, animal husbandry and fisheries. They are used, for example, for storage or to house animals, machines, tools as well as intermediate and end products of agricultural and forestry enterprises (Destatis 2014). Such buildings can be agricultural halls, cattle/pig sheds, barns or greenhouses.
