Composition of the synthetic office and administrative building

85 office and administrative buildings from the BKI databank (BKI-Datenbank 2015) were evaluated in order to derive characteristic areas, volumes and material indicators. Consideration was given to office buildings, administrative buildings, office and commercial buildings, office and sales buildings, bank buildings, administrative and social buildings, police buildings, public agencies (Landrat, tax offices, Trade Inspection Agency). 54 objects could be examined in detail, i.e. using data on the areas of building components as well as descriptions of the construction process (data up to the 2nd costing level).   
    
The dates of completion of the analysed office and administrative buildings lie in the period 1976 to 2006.
